This is Kelly Square, in Worcester, Massachusetts. Without a doubt, the most organized chaos of an intersection ever. If you live in Massachusetts, you do everything in your power to avoid driving through it. New drivers to grandmas, everyone knows it, and everyone has their story driving through it.
What's my story? Second driver's ed class, I went through it. Holy shit. Instructor said "You'll be fine" and said something along the lines of "Go that way, actually no that way." Made it through. Malibu I was driving looks like it had battle scars of previous trips through it though.

That is not my idea of an intersection - that is my idea of traffic HELL.

From an overhead view, maybe not. Try it from Google maps street view.

When I was 10 I was a huge Sim City player. Fucking loved the game. I would stay up till all hours playing that on some piece of shit laptop my aunt gave me. I built these perfect cities. Fully accessible roads without an inch of traffic, in perfect grid formation, bus stations, subways, everything. They were amazing. Anyway, how the fuck does a city the size Worcester build a clusterfuck of an intersection like Kelley Square. Who thought this layout of 10 roads coming into one intersection was a good idea? I was 10 and I knew how to build a city's infrastructure better than this.
The good drivers from Worcester (I'm on the top of that list) don't even worry about it any more though. When we drive through Kelley Square, we all know what the one rule is. Just fucking go. Don't look both ways. Don't stop at the stop signs. Just go. Nothing worse than being stuck behind some idiot with Connecticut license plate, sitting at the stop sign for eternity. No one is going to let you in bro. That's when I ussually just lay on the horn. Get the driver in front of me all frazzled making them start driving only to stop in the middle of the intersection where there is no stop sign, which pisses me off even worse.
I could go on all day about the issues with Kelley Square and how people's driving skills just go to shit when they see 10 roads slamming into one, but I'm not going to. Let me know some of your biggest Kelley Square pet peeves in the comment section below.
P.S. – Whats up with the crosswalks? You gotta be a lunatic to even think about running through the middle of Kelley Square. There's only two types of people who ever walk across them. The alcoholic, homeless people who live in Crompton Park and the hipsters at Vernon Hotel. Death wish.
P.P.S – As i was writing this i realized to my self that I've never actually even seen an accident in Kelley Square. Weird.
Found this googling kelly square.
I have been through there, my co-driver instructed me to "Not even think about stopping"
dumb music.

I don't think Worcester has it in the city budget to change that into a rotary.

Even in NH they suck.
I prefer Massholes. Hell I'll take a Rhode Islander.....A fucking VT plate is better than CT
But Quebec.....

Why is it that these narrow wood-frame 4-story walkups are such a Massachusetts phenomenon?

Quebec drivers anywhere.....day ruined....
I get stuck behind them on my drive home once in a while taking the scenic route, doing 10+ UNDER the speed limit on a road where NO ONE does the speed limit, usually 10+ over even the cops do it.
And at any passing zone there is traffic so you are stuck there until it splits to two lanes or they turn off to go eat or sight see.

Pretty sure they think it's still kph here. Luckily they don't come to central Mass very often. Surprising considering all our colleges.

I'm on the Vineyard. The NY drivers are by far the worst.

We've got a gem of an uncontrolled five-way intersection here in town. No traffic lights, only three ways have stop signs. The two through-ways aren't even straight through, they meet at an angle. It is the single heaviest trafficked road on the island, because the car ferry and grocery store are both down one road. In the height of tourism season the traffic will back up for almost a mile when the ferry's unloading. Which is every 45 minutes.
Also the drainage system constantly clogs with sand meaning that a few times a year the intersection will flood up to your door sills.

I also didn't think this looked too bad... until I scrolled down to other comments and discovered that this isn't all of it... and that there are ten roads coming together in this mess.

Forgot that you guys drive on the other side of the road for a second. Translated into American driving that would be a left on red. No one is that dumb here.
Out of curiosity, right on red is legal here. Are left on reds legal is Australia?

At a right on red? We stop at the light. And if there's no oncoming traffic turn right.
